Bandar Seri Begawan (August 21, 2009) Boustead Sdn Bhd is currently having a promotion on all their Nissan models. Starting from 21/8/09 till 31/10/09, anyone who purchases a brand new Nissan car will be entitled for the grand draw of $20,000, or one of five other consolation prizes.

This year, Boustead has once again chosen to use the theme of our familiar Genie to bring their festive celebration deals as well as greetings to their Nissan customers by granting the lucky winners in this promotion a highly-attractive cash prize as well as other consolation prizes. A roadshow, and interactive radio quizzes have also been organised in conjunction with this promotion.

Nissan's Hari Raya Promotion will first kick off with a road show at Giant Hypermarket in Rimba, which lasts from 21st August till the 23rd August 2009. During this roadshow, Nismo body-kit for the Nissan Latio hatchback will be featured, together with sporty modification made to the MPV vehicle, Nissan Serena, to be displayed alongside.

In addition, there will also be radio quizzes held from the 28th August to 29th September on Pilihan radio station, with four questions and prizes to be given out each week. Each winner of the radio quizzes will get one of several Nissan-branded merchandises, as well as be entitled for a further lucky draw inside the Nissan showroom to be conducted on 2nd October 2009. Bandar Seri Begawan (May 16, 2009) ?Boustead Sdn.Bhd officially launches a new evolution; of the Nissan 370Z sports coupe into the Brunei market at Sheraton Hotel in their 370Z "Prologue" event. The concept behind "Prologue" is, this event will kick start the release of Nissan's biggest names in motorsport namely the 370Z, NHPC and GTR. NHPC is the main backbone of GTR’s introduction to Brunei as it has been a strict criteria that a Nissan High Performance Centre has to be set up before qualification to distribute of GTR. The centre consists of a NHPC showroom, service centre, service bay with special hoist, alignment machine tester, body alignment tool, special paint program, professional sales and after-sales programs. NHPC will be complete by June and GTR spec II is due for release in July and we are currently taking orders.

The new 370Z is set to revolutionize with its aggressive bodylines and legacy of an ultimate sports coupe since the 60's. Sophistication runs through every single detail the new Z, Firstly, the exterior features pumped guards sculptured by an artist inspired by the designs that go back to what the Z in the 60's used to look with a long front and this time with a 100mm shorter back. From the rear the Z has the looks of a supercar with wide fenders and even wider 295mm Bridgestone tyres with curved front HID and rear LED lights resemble a shape that might cut the air better than a boomerang.

Nissan has created the Z that is based on its predecessors but internally the Z is a totally revamped sports car. The chassis has been revised according to a box shaped support structure and with the extensive use of aluminum, carbon and latest materials the torsional rigidity has increased by 30% and overall weight has been reduced by 100 kg.

World's first 6 speed syncro-rev transmission has been the key feature of the new Z, and this technology has revolutionized the new age of professional driving (Heel and toe). Syncro-rev is activated by a button and during up shifts or down shifts, upon engagement of the clutch the revs will be matched according to the speed to create a lag free response when needed. Magnesium paddle shifted 7 speed auto gear box variant is available and the gear ratios cover a wide range of low to high speed gears with super slick gear shifts. The latest Z is fitted with a trick Limited Slip Differential (LSD) that will enable its latest 335hp, 3.7 litre engine to power through the obstacles in front of the car. Launch the 370Z and experience 20 foot roll out like on the drag strips with a 0-100km/h time of 5.5 seconds and attain full stability made possible by the LSD.

Nissan's concept of safety implemented in the 370Z comes in a few stages: first in line are the Xenon headlamps, ABS with Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) to distribute the brake forces according to the surface imbalances or during cornering, Brake Assist (BA) to enable greater braking force upon heavy load braking, Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) to reduce slip and 14" brakes developed by bullet train brake manufacturers. Second is the bonnet pops up upon impact to reduce impact upon contact with pedestrian. Dual front, side, curtain SRS airbags and active head restraints to provide added support for the passengers head in the event of a collision.

In conclusion this is the start of a new Z revolution that defies all odds, while maintaining its status as a daily driven sports car. The Z's curvaceous lines, pumped guards, 19 inch wheels, and exciting paint line-up is something to notice on the streets.

Bandar Seri Begawan (May 22nd, 2009) ?Boustead Sdn Bhd will organize its eight time Charity Golf Tournament together with the co-sponsor, Jerudong Park Country Club Sdn Bhd.

For the past seven years, Boustead Sdn Bhd has supported this charity event and a total sum of B$ 167,000.00 had been raised over the years and donated to the DANA Pengiran Muda Al-Muhtadee Billah Orphan's Fund.

This year, the tournament will be held for three consecutive days on Friday (June 5th morning and afternoon), Saturday (June 6th morning and afternoon) and Sunday (June 7th morning). The green fee is $100.00 inclusive of breakfast and lunch on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for both members and non-members and all proceeds collected will again donated to the DANA Orphan's Fund. Golfers are encouraged to participate more to this event.

As usual, all Nissan and Suzuki customers are invited to pit their golfing skills in this competition. The Hole-In-One prizes to be won over the four holes offer a line-up of Nissan and Suzuki vehicles for the winners. The cars on display are Nissan Murano Auto, Nissan Latio Sedan Auto, Suzuki Grand Vitara 2x4 Auto and Suzuki Swift Auto.

For the first time in this event the Junior Category is introduce to promote our young generation to be our future golfers beside participating the charity event. On June 7th, in the afternoon there will be a prize-giving ceremony, including the presentation of Challenge Trophy by the Crown Prince for winners of the golf tournament. Bandar Seri Begawan (March 27, 2009) - The new Nissan Serena has made its first public appearance at Giant Hypermart, Tasik Rimba. This new release by Boustead Sdn Bhd represents a comeback of the Nissan Serena from when it was officially available in the country more than a decade ago.

The Nissan Serena will be available for viewing at the venue, from 9.00 a.m. on Friday, 27th March 2009. The introduction of this vehicle will go on for three days at the complex till the 29th March. Members of public are invited to bring their families to explore this new Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV) which is expected to meet their needs.

One of the main features of the Nissan Serena which is expected to entice buyers is its highly-versatile seat arrangements. With seat arrangements pre-designed to carry long luggage, bicycles or similar sized items, or even one’s baby on a long-haul journey, as well as to provide for a full-flat mode and other options, this vehicle is promised to have the most seating flexibility in the MPV segment to date.
